  1. Those are gut-punch images for sure. What hits me even more are all the brothers and sisters that were never even conceived, because “we can only provide for two” or “how would we pay for college?” or it would get in the way of lifestyle choices.

I’ve seen a lot of men with only-child daughters, or “just-two” daughters, or even three daughters, where it’s obvious the man wanted a son. It can drive the fathers a bit mad— sometimes ending up with him over-masculinizing the daughters, getting them into male-only pursuits that are inappropriate for their sex.

How many of those haunted son-less fathers failed to press for more children? Or went along with society and waited too long to get married and/or start having kids early, before the wife’s abilities diminished?

  2. Not just that. I find it hard to understand that there are lots of people using abortion as a means of family planning.
Over here in Europe the “typical” abortion mommy isn’t the young naive woman that can’t make ends meet but the middle aged, married woman.

  4. Notice how churchian activists often show a dark skinned infant in their anti-abortion memes, while the ones above are of White children.

    Wess, excellent point.

  5. I saw these before bed and had a very bizarre and disturbing nightmare in which I became some sort of an infant-sized being laid out upon a cot in a kind of nursery full of others, with a maliciously smiling DMV-sized black lady standing over me to “examine” me.

  6. Murderous bastards.

I do not have children. All my fault. The gifts given to those who throw them away sadness me greatly.

  7. Last night I watched “Apocalypse Now: Final Cut”, the first time I’ve experienced Apocalypse Now in any version in over a decade. I was afraid I would find the filmwatching experience redundant now after my myriad viewings in my teens and twenties, or that the film simply wouldn’t hold up as a work of art. I was astonished at just how “into it” I became–at times actually trembling a little bit, to my shock and gratification, as though I were watching it on a big screen and for the first time.

Coppola in this latest cut has retained the French plantation sequence but ditched the Redux follow-up with the Playboy Bunnies in which they get pimped out to the boat crew, including the black captain though not the Lawrence Fishburne character. I didn’t know going in what of the Redux he was going to retain or omit, so this was a gratifying surprise.

Watching the film through present-day race aware lenses was a fresh intellectual exercise. The black captain is “Chief” while the elder White of the crew is “Chef.” The simmering hostility between Sheen’s Willard and the boat captain, with occasional moments of confidentiality or equivocal respect between them constantly dashed by conflicting authority and “muh boat”, climaxing in Chief’s death-throe attempt to choke Willard. Before, during the French plantation set-piece, they bury Fishburne and Chief presents the flag to Willard, standing in as it were for the war widow or the black matriarch whose tape-recorded voice we hear as Fishburne’s character dies. The burial isn’t played as though it’s charged with hostility, yet thematically it seems plain that it is–the black man blames whitey for all the trouble.

I suppose all this primed me for a racial nightmare.

  8. True confession: twice lately I’ve dreamed about Prince, of all the people, and certainly someone I’d never dreamed about before.

In the first dream, I saw Prince standing in a hospital corridor, sniffing from a bar of what in the dream was identified as “Ivory AIDS” soap, which he had picked out from a stack of empty pizza boxes piled up inside the custodial closet. This was “understood” in the dream as the cause of his death. Make of that what you will.

In the second dream, a couple of weeks later, I was in a (play) theatre, where Prince was seated in the first row, but fast asleep and snoring somewhat audibly. The manager had him hefted out by a gaggle of ushers because his sleeping was considered too offensive. In the dream I thought this was somewhat obnoxious overkill since surely they could see the man was ill and (without diminishing my repatriationist bona fides) the man clearly was a paying customer and what’s the rush to make him leave. Plus everyone in the theatre clearly understood this was Prince, so it seemed a shocking liberty to unceremoniously dump a celebrity out on the street simply because he dozed off. I even wondered inside the dream whether this was all a publicity stunt–yet doubted it, and wondered if I was rationalizing what was otherwise an inscrutable forced error and callous treatment of a star guest, surely to cause him amazement and chagrin, and provoke popular outrage.

In hindsight these emotions seem disturbingly liberal in their overtones–I’m not a Prince fan, never mind what the FIRST dream had implied about his covert modus operandi. –but in the second dream I didnt take any hint that this was a “get rid of em all, even Prince!” kind of pro-White triumph. Instead it seemed the manager was just being a dick because he could.

But then, the fact that Prince was on my REM radar at all is surely Nature’s fault.

  9. Meanwhile, the )))Cultural Maoists((( get to work on jacking back that TFR:

“How come there seemed to be a tiny voice saying ‘Pregnant! Pregnant! Pregnant!’?” lolzlolzllzolzlz

[NB: the youtube algofairy dropped this one in my lap somehow. A glitch in the matrix? A gift from Lenovo?]

  10. I do not have children. All my fault.

It’s not your fault nor mine that the demographics are against us.

  11. That is a painful meme and some great rhetoric. Got me right in the feels.

Of course for most of the abortions in the last few decades of all races here (2/3rds are non White) its more like “This is your third strike , 25 to life. $20 bucks for an 8 ball, gimmie the F’ing money, look your the baby daddy you owe me money, I’m not giving you a cent *itch or in some cases “the fetus is severely deformed and will live a life of pain” or it just ends up with more broken single mommy kids

If one unequivocally good thing about abortion is the eugenic effects , its mostly eliminated Down’s Syndrome for example and also helped reduce the violent crime rate to a manageable level.

A total ban on abortion even if somehow it was effective and obeyed wouldn’t help White people much anyway. Its a rocket train to a faster Black and Latino population along with a pile more single mommies and more kids raised by Leftist

The assumption that centrists or conservative Whites are getting abortions is risible and not at all backed by facts.

That said abortion is going to be a significant issue if there is a future Dissident Right state and why I think that some kind of division is the best option . Folks like me , secular or low religious Dissident Right with socially moderate to conservative leanings don’t need to share a polity with the religious right.

On the other hand as the NYT noted the abortion rate is at an all time low so its self correcting

Given that the birth rate is also at a an incredibly low levels, its generally thought to be better contraception. Probably true though I think its also celibacy. A a lot of people are just not doing the deed or I’m told many millennials doing stuff that doesn’t make babies.

As for attempts at goosing up the TFR , I think Lucius Somesuch is onto something. It won’t work anywhere though and all kinds of things have been tried. Some of them a combination of economics, nationalism and some religion can good the TFR up but not a single nation has gone above replacement other than Israel and its only there because of the low participation orthodox

Largely the developed world is at or over its social carrying capacity and a decline is natural and healthy, so long as big religion, big business, cheap labor and other sorts of globalists don’t screw it up with immigration.

On a side note a rather smart normie friend of mine noticed a fair lot of TV adds with babies and remarked “What are they trying to do,. get the population up. No one is having babies.”

Here in So Cal this seems to be the case especially as it as baby palooza from 2006-2008 or so.

  12. Not able to comment further at the moment, for now will just note that I hate it when people say, “the abortion rate is at its lowest ever.” You mean the lowest since it was legalized an/or tracked. Doubtless it was much lower 100 years ago.

  13. This is very effective rhetoric, as everybody else has noted.

    That said.

Abortion is disproportionately used by non-whites, the lower classes, and people of imprecise morality. It is, as someone noted above, a self-correcting problem. It is also a net overall good as a selection effect.

I would not want any of my family members engaged in happy monogamous relationships to have abortions. I would be seriously upset if a woman I was involved with aborted a child of mine. However, those who DO choose to have abortions – they are making the judgement that the world doesn’t need more people like them around. And who better to make that judgement? Take them at their word and let them do it.

Abortion in the case of serious birth or hereditary defects is also a rational choice. There is no sense or goodness in trying to force the existence of a human being not suited to life, nor spending hundreds of thousands of dollars on it that could be spent on several healthy children instead. If, in the case of Downs syndrome babies for example, somebody is specifically waiting to adopt and take full responsibility and cover all expenses; fine, let them. Otherwise it is a far worse cruelty to force life where it isn’t working.

And finally: abortion in the case of rape or incest is a moral requirement. Contra the feminists, rape is about sex, and about forcibly spreading the rapist’s genes around. Rewarding that by allowing the act to achieve its goal is self-defeating for the civilization. The child conceived in rape is not at fault through its actions; it is, however, at fault through its nature. A moral society cannot tolerate its existence.

  14. ” On a side note a rather smart normie friend of mine noticed a fair lot of TV adds with babies and remarked “What are they trying to do,. get the population up. No one is having babies.” ”

But what color are the majority of babies in them ?

  15. Amon Ra.

    Mostly White.

    SJ Esquire

At the risk of sounding like an SJW NPC bleating “Current Year.” while what you said is undoubtedly true, while any part of modernity lasts, no one is going back to 19th century morality and even middle 20th is pushing the limits.

Still there is no doubt abortion is in significant to major decline which even for those of us who are pro abortion can be pleased by a natural decline.

And note I meant pro abortion. Abortion as it is now is generally good for society.

In the end opposition abortion is simply a religious issue, Christians and a few others think its murder and the rest of us may be ambivalent or fine with it.

Most pro abortion people also do not trust the anti abortion people on the issue of birth control. We know that’s next since the difference between one religious zealot and another is theology not action.

This issue is not resolvable issue except by force and having a patchwork of States with different laws in a single polity makes little sense in a world where you can drive across a continent in a few days cheaply.

Thus separate homogeneous nations with limited trade might be the best solution.

Since men determine the sex of the child, it is because of their own biological weakness that so many families have only female children. I saw a documentary about this ages ago – something to do with chemicals/pollution, bad diet, etc. weakening men. Also, men are just getting weaker every generation.

So, how many daughters is a woman supposed to bear just because her husband wants a son?

Maybe these men who you say want a son (I imagine that is true, they do) should clean up their lives – stop alcohol, eat better food, stop the unnecessary suppression of mild illnesses through drug medicines, clean up their lives in general – and they might just become normalized enough to be able to produce boys. My husband produced boys! He does not drink, smoke, take drugs, etc. and never has.

If you see a tough-type woman and a weak-type man, you can be pretty sure there won’t be a lot of boys in that family. I watch for these things and am not far off the mark. If you see a more feminine or relatively weak type of woman with a masculine husband, there’ll be boys!

I speculated along similar lines, recently in another thread.

I noted that it’s folk wisdom, that strong men will more likely sire sons. See for example, the legend of the seventh son (of a seventh son). See for example John Fogerty, son of virile Irish frontiersmen and one of five brothers and no sisters.

The movie Training Day plays makes reference to this too, when (black) Alonzo says to his junior partner, (White-boy) Hoyt, that he can stand in for him with his wife if he needs a son, because he “can’t miss.”

It’s a nice observation. But is it true?

As a social science hypothesis, it would be something that could be studied. Can it possibly be that there’s no studies on this question?!

It is to be sure, a “loaded” question, with implications that are contra globohomo..

    So what’s the deal?

  18. I will personal post here. I try not to post about my actual family, but my next door neighbors growing up, is another story. They were four blonde Norwegians, all girls, all 8+, all tall, all true blondes, and all age appropriate. And of I got with none of them. The one time it mighta almost happened was many years after we had grown up (past hs) and I stopped over for some random but legitimate reason, and the two younger ones who were TWINS! hadn’t seen me in years and so gave me a hug and — I kid u not — one of them was in a towel.

I didn’t make it happen though.. honest to god it just didn’t seem appropriate. I felt stupid about it later, for not at least trying to “cop a feel” and or get muh dick on.

Their father however, was a a classic 6 foot 4 blue collar outdoorsman type. They had two daughters, and then tried again, and got twin girls. It’s hard to imagine he had problems producing strong seed, but otoh maybe it was the work he was doing, which later turned out to be having quite deleterious effects on his health.

  19. I had a paper route at age 13, in a working class neighborhood that was White in 1983, and is mostly still that way now.

Anyway, back then when you did your monthly collections from the newspaper subscribers, you knocked on their doors and they wrote you a check, sometimes with a tip. One of the houses on my route had six girls, ages as I recall up to about ten.

Perhaps the man and his wife wanted a son. On the other hand, women marry younger and presumably, he has a few grandsons right now.

  20. I was recently thinking about Prince too. For some reason I was watching some Replacements videos, and youtube linked me to a telephone interview with Westerberg, in which he was called by a local public radio station, to get his reaction on Prince’s death. Westerberg said that his whole block — as in the block where he was living, which was presumably in Minneapolis — had “gone quiet” and I thought it was a very lame stupid dumb thing to say. For one, just not believable. As if there was some community on the block on which he lives, and everyone took down their flags and dressed in black or otherwise got together in mourning?

But on a more realistic note Westerberg described in that same call, how it was when the Replacements would happen to share a venue with Prince. Westerberg said it was embarrassing, their level of musicianship as compared to his. And it’s true: Prince had prodigious musical talents. Not all niggers, sometimes it would seem..

I would like to do an effort post on the Replacements, but am just too not up for it. Nic____ once called me out, for dissing them. My diss of them was, redneck and provincial, and status signaling. He-who-shall-not-be-named, was right. The Replacements were somebodies.

But the effort comment post on them, would be more about what they meant in terms of social status and shit like that. Their fans, back in the day, were a sorry lot of “spiteful mutants” most of them. And the higher status high-schoolers in the 80s, as a matter of course, didn’t listen to the Replacements. That scene was the alternative crowd.

Later, much later, I came to appreciate their perspective, as people who though they didn’t fit in (then), they were at least trying to make something happen.

  21. “Their father however, was a a classic 6 foot 4 blue collar outdoorsman type.”

As far as height goes, there is a point of diminishing returns. Such excessive tallness is not an indicator of robust good health at all. (I am not saying we all have to look like Thais or Chinese. Every ethnic group is different.) With white people, you may notice that a lot of diabetics and pre-diabetics are usually tall, rangy, “loose”, perhaps big boned. Yes, there are exceptions.

It is a North American thing to equate tallness with health. The most energetic, hard working persons I know are on the smaller, generally contracted side. Including most of my family.

Yes, we have to look at all the factors, not just one (such as height, which I am talking about at the moment.)

Back to boys vs girls. I have a relative who is pale and delicate, a feminine type. Her husband the complete opposite. I’ve lost track of the number of boys she’s borne and no girls. They kept trying for girls, but…

  22. I don’t think “manliness” has much to do with how many daughters vs how many sons. Nor does womanliness

I know a lifetime blue collar worker with 3 daughters and no sons. I suppose it could be because his wife’s couldn’t (not would not, could not) give him children till their late 30’s but its more likely luck of the draw in most cases.

  23. I don’t think “manliness” has much to do with how many daughters vs how many sons. Nor does womanliness

Well that’s the question. How it would be evaluated, with real science, is outside of my skill set..

It’s worth repeating though, that there is a tradition of folk wisdom that suggests that more manly men have a better chance at sons. Of all Genghis ‘Big Daddy’ Khan’s children, what percentage were males?

Razib Khan, the e-celeb who still is around and doing his thing on the podcast, might could answer this question off the top of his head. Razib himself would be worth an effort gossip post..

His attitude, is very typical of high caste Indians who are racist to the core, but at the same time have huge chips on their shoulder. Otoh they are simply advocating for a system wherein they are on top.

  24. Anders Bergstrom would be another of these hotshot young celebrity scientists, whose picture can be viewed at the link. They really got life by the balls, it would seem..

How many people worldwide, are at their level, in that particular science of human population genetics, which level is at the level of writing the influential papers that are being discussed in their rarified real science community?

To pull some numbers out of the air “at random” — maybe a couple hundred people, all of whom are young men, of the same sort who dominate chess. Mostly White, a good number of jews and Indians. I don’t think the Chinese can actually do cutting edge science at that level, frankly. They are too limited by their innate bug people awfulness. I hate Chinese with a passion now. I think a lot of people feel this way, all of a sudden for some reason. I used to want to clear out Africa for the animals; but equally helpful for “the human race” is to get rid of the Chinese. Grug-level nationalism emotion posting aside: no joke. Kill them all and save the rest of us.

But so there’s a couple hundred of the scientist celebs (in that field), all of whom are young and good looking, and for that matter males; and then 10x more than who are the next level down: still doing research but not the most lauded; and then 10x more than that at the next level down who are in support roles; and then perhaps 10x more than that who can follow their real science reasoning ie analyze the data, to some extent.

Gossip aside. In the linked podcast above wherein they discuss the population genetics of Papuans, which did you know? is pronounced pah-poo-ah, the author of the article, the interviewee Bergstrom with his elite Nordic brain, thought that maybe those population genetic structures in them there those jungle Highlands, might be a “replicate” [ooh cool science word] on which to postulate how agriculture might woulda modified and set into motion feedback loops, back onto the populations which done come up with it. At which point in the podcast I wanted to scream and throw my computer into the floor: But those population genetic structures are not going to be the same as the ones you want to compare them with, ie Neolithic farmers and modern humans in Europe blah blah; and so how can you real science geniuses be considering using them as a replicate for such comparison?!

Which larger point, to the readers here, is it’s unclear (to me), is my criticism of them being stuck with the framework of globoschlomo, valid or not?

I think it is, but I don’t know. Am I making any sense here, in presenting this criticism?

  25. Another effort comment to be made, gleaned from that same podcast, but a different episode [“Paleogenetics of Africa”] which is the one on the genetics of Africa.

Only a few thousand years ago, within the scope of History, the genetics of Africa were entirely different, than they are now. In a words: the Bantus, but it’s more complicated that just that.

In that podcast Razib /ourguy?/ Khan makes the very political point, that we need new language, and new categories, to describe population groups: his point being specifically that “modern humans” is particularly vague and un-useful and in fact deceptive. So mad credits to him for being the guy to say what’s on everyone’s mind.

The dissident right gossip on Khan, and I don’t follow him that closely actually, is that he sort of is /ourguy/ but he’s an Indian and therefore he’s got issues. And also at what level, is actually Razib’s science skillz, as categorized in my previous comment? Is he at the very top level, in the top couple hundred who are writing the best papers, or more likely the next level down; or maybe not even there?

Relatedly. The “Harvard geneticist” Reich, who Sailer likes to write about. Reich runs the best most superstar lab, but as with all things in this jewish world, one has to wonder, is he actually the guy, or is he just another jew getting credit for the White brains doing the work?

  26. The X or Y chromosome comes from the father, but the pH of the womb determines which sperm gets in the egg. I’ll try to find the research on it, I can’t remember where I read it, but it was in a “scientific journal” and isn’t some Bro Science spout off.

Some people swear by the Chinese birth chart, where you figure in the mother’s age at time of conception for either a boy or a girl. So, if you’re 27 and you want a boy, you find the conception month that results in a boy nine months later, and go for it.

Weird but true: (we didn’t use this method FYI) but for fun I went back and matched up our kids and the kids of several friends. 99.99% accurate, the .01% being the case of fraternal mixed sex twins (Chinese birth chart said girl for their conception/birth months).

  27. “Am I making any sense here, in presenting this criticism?”

    Yep.

How is it that even the most illiterate backyard dog breeder knows more about how behavior (culture) is downstream from genetics than the top, most-assuredly unbiased, smartest-est scientists who receive millions of shekels in absolutely truth-driven, unbiased funding?

  28. The difficulty of the abortion issue is that it is a binary thing, and metaphysical assumptions inexorably lead you to total ban or total permission. Anything in between is simply a temporary state. Which is why separate polities is required.

  29. pj-

Genetics most likely do account for a large percentage, and across a population have significant impact on culture. But it does not 100% account for it, nor for individual variation/exception, and that is where the “top, most-assuredly unbiased, smartest-est scientists who receive millions of shekels in absolutely truth-driven, unbiased funding” hang their hat.

  30. V. In That Annihilated Place

For a lifetime the odious Enemy
Had taken white women and children as prey,
Honor unknown to what passed for his soul.
Long his subversion had sought to control
The Western female mind and so her womb,
To make of it the Aryan future’s tomb
By corrupting the gift that was maternal
    Until she either was infertile
Or open only to his feral other,
No less than his slave army’s mother,
No more than a savaged piece of meat,
A trophy for whom no war was fought.

I guess that most Chinese were not using that chart, though, which is why there is such a high rate of aborting of female fetuses over there.
